What recent guests emphasize

Comfortable stay with great location but basic facilities

Guests appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness, convenient location near Earl's Court station, and friendly service, while noting its dated interiors and limited amenities typical of a budget property.

Guests often praise

  • Clean rooms and comfortable beds, with efforts clearly made to maintain hygiene.
  • Excellent location just minutes from Earl's Court Tube Station and nearby restaurants and cafes.
  • Friendly and helpful staff, sometimes offering room upgrades or flexible arrangements.
  • Good water pressure in the showers and quiet rooms when windows are closed.
  • Affordable pricing with decent value for money given the central location.

Worth knowing

  • The hotel is housed in an old building with worn furniture and dated decor.
  • Breakfast is basic, continental, served only for a short time, and the dining area can get quite hot in summer.
  • Front desk hours are limited (2pm–10pm), restricting luggage storage before check-in and after check-out for some guests.
  • The hotel does not offer air conditioning, on-site parking, restaurant, or fitness facilities.
  • Street noise can be an issue early in the morning for rooms with windows open, especially on upper floors.

Best for

  • Budget-conscious travelers seeking a simple, clean base in a lively, well-connected area.
  • Visitors prioritizing location close to museums and central London attractions.
  • Guests who value friendly service and reasonable comfort over luxury amenities.
  • Families with children, as the hotel is kid-friendly and staff accommodate special requests.
  • Travelers comfortable with basic, no-frills accommodations within a historic building.

About this property

Welcome to Manor Hotel

Manor Hotel is housed in a 19th-century townhouse located in a lively area of London’s Earl’s Court. The building offers simple, no-frills accommodation with clean and modest rooms, some featuring private bathrooms. While the decor may feel dated and basic, guests frequently note that the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained considering the hotel’s price point.

The hotel provides free continental breakfast each morning and complimentary Wi-Fi, but it lacks air conditioning, on-site parking, and restaurant services. Families with children will find the property welcoming, though there are no fitness or pet-friendly facilities available. Check-in begins at 1 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. Guest reviews often mention helpful and accommodating staff alongside practical amenities.

Situated just a short walk from Earl’s Court Tube Station, the hotel offers convenient access to central London and several renowned museums like the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Science Museum. Nearby, visitors can enjoy a variety of pubs, cafes, and green spaces, making it a suitable choice for travelers interested in exploring cultural attractions and a vibrant neighborhood atmosphere.

The overall guest feedback is mixed but leans toward favorable for those seeking budget accommodation with a good location. While some comments highlight the older facilities and limited services, many appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness, comfort, and value, particularly for those traveling on a tighter budget and prioritizing convenience over luxury.

The hotel is at Earl’s Court, convient to go to both airports. The staff are nice. I booked shared bathroom double room which I located on 2 floor. They switched me to the ground floor because I’m with my baby. The new room also had a private bathroom. The hotel is very clean, sheets are clean, beds are comfortable. However, it is a very old hotel. The furniture is worn out. I still feel comfortable because it is clean. And you see the staff put enough effort to keep it clean. The downside is it doesn’t let you store luggage when you checked out. You can’t leave baggage before you check in. Because the front desk only works from 2 pm to 10pm. Storing luggage is only reason I choose hotel over airbnb. The hotel doesn’t have good review score on Google. I don’t think it is fair, for the price you pay, it is really worth every penny. I feel this is a hotel run by new immigrants couple. Like all hard working couples, they are trying hard to rebuild the reputation. I recommend you to stay especially if you have budget constraints. Good luck

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our room was bright, airy, spacious, and clean! Very basic, but we had all that we needed! The shower had great water pressure. We were able to sleep with the windows open without too much street noise. The hotel is only a few minutes away from Earls Court Station and there are lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. The gentleman at reception was very nice too! This place was an excellent value for the money! There were only a few small downsides, but nothing too severe. The mattresses in the room were rather hard - just springs with no pillow top whatsoever. The bathroom door didn’t have a proper lock/closure and our shower had two separate knobs for hot and cold, so you had to play with them quite a bit to get a good temperature. The lobby also smelled a little bit of smoke, but it didn’t permeate to the room. There also wasn’t a lift, so something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. None of these things greatly impacted our stay and overall we really enjoyed the Manor Hotel!

Structure of the building is old but it had been maintained well. Most importantly it was super cheap despite being so close to the Earls Court station and restaurants. Staff was cooperative and allowed us to leave our luggage without any charge.

Very good location! Beds were comfortable and the room clean. Slept with windows open otherwise the room was too hot(we were on the last floor, long stairs to get there) but street noise starts very early, so it was hard to choose!! Breakfast was poor but ok served in a very hot (in summer) dinning area. It's only served between 7h30 and 9h00 wich is a very short range

We stayed here for 2 nights in a triple room. Couldn't fault it. It is a 2 star hotel so don't expect the Ritz but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was great! The location is perfect for accessing central London as it is only a 4 minute walk to Earls Court Tube Station. There are some really nice cafes and bars nearby also

Good hotel for the price! The decor is dated but the service was quite friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I got a decent night's sleep with minimal hassle. The location of the hotel is fairly central too and with Earl's Court tube station nearby. Got back in at about 10:30pm slightly drunk after a late night event with no problems using my key card. Be advised the hotel does not seem to have shower facilities, or at least my room did not. It seems each floor shares a bathroom, which is fine, but it didn't have a shower. Though, a towel, soap, and shampoo was provided in the room, so I washed my hair in the sink. Not ideal, but better than nothing, and the stay was cheap and comfortable otherwise. Overall though the stay was just fine and I'd recommend if you need a cheap, no-frills hotel in the area!

Great location in a quite area just a few minutes walk from earls court station. The rooms wasn't too small but the bed was very comfortable. The manager was very kren to help. Everything is perfect in a very nominal price. Toilets was very clean and well equipped. Facilities were gud in room like kettle tea coffee milk . I must recommend.

Amazing service. I paid just £40 for a private room and shared bathroom (I’ve paid around £50 before for a 12 bed dorm in a London hostel!), and the receptionist upgraded me to a triple room with a private bathroom - at no extra cost. This completely made my day, and it was a lovely, quiet room. Would recommend!
